You exercise, you diet, but you just can't get rid of those love handles or flabby upper arms. Well struggle no more! We have a solution to losing that unwanted fat forever with our incredible, new Smartlipo LaserBodySculpting system. This breakthrough technique uses a precise laser to literally melt away the fat -- without the downtime, discomfort or bruising of traditional liposuction techniques. "Take off what dieting won't!"
How does LaserBodySculpting work?
This laser procedure is performed using a small cannula (or tube) inserted into the skin. A laser fiber inside of the cannula delivers energy directly to fat cells, causing them to rupture and melt. Simultaneously, tissue around the area coagulates, resulting in overall tighter skin tissue. Smartlipo is the industry's only laser lipolysis system designed to destroy fat cells and coagulate tissue for tighter skin.
This is not Lipodissolve, which is a series of shots that may or may not work.
What areas of the body can be treated?
Smartlipo LaserBodySculpting is ideal for the neck, jaw line, arms, bra fat, abdomen, love handles, saddle bags, inner and outer thighs and knees.
Am I a candidate?
Smartlipo LaserBodySculpting is meant for areas that do not respond to diet and exercise. The perfect candidate is in good health and within 30 lbs. of ideal body weight. Men and women who have small areas of troublesome, localized fat deposits. Dr. Colyer may sometimes combine it with other procedures such as a tummy tuck or breast enhancement.
How does Smartlipo LaserBodySculpting compare to conventional liposuction?
Conventional liposuction is usually performed in a hospital setting under a general anesthesia. Smartlipo is performed in our office under a local anesthesia. The laser ruptures the fat cells compared to traditional liposuction which tears small globules of fat. With Smartlipo there is significantly less bleeding, swelling and bruising to the tissue so your recovery time is less. Compression garments are typically worn for 6 weeks with conventional liposuction compared to approximately 2-3 weeks for Smartlipo. Most people return to work the next day and resume exercising 2 weeks later.
Results are seen within 3 weeks with continued improvement over three to six months.
