About Our Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Colyer is a nationally and internationally recognized plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a leader in the latest, least invasive procedures and has worked around the world. He is an international leader for facial surgery, smartlipo, body shaping and reconstruction with more than 10,000 patients. He is the only plastic surgeon to serve as a prestigious White House Fellow. He has been featured on 60 Minutes, People magazine, and many newspapers. He is often cited on many “Top Plastic Surgeons” lists.

His patients come from all walks of life and many countries–each with their own individual challenges. Dr. Colyer’s philosophy is knowing when to do the right thing for the right individual at the right time. He is dedicated to his patients and places an emphasis on maintaining high ethics, safety, and world class results.

Dr. Colyer believes his highest calling is to serve others. He is dedicated to his patients in Kansas City and volunteers in the most difficult warzones like the Rwandan genocide, Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, and the Balkans. Dr. Colyer has multiple degrees and training from Georgetown University, Cambridge University, Kansas University, Washington Hospital Center, the University of Missouri—Kansas City, and the International Craniofacial Institute.
